Christine Falzitto
Director
My name is Christine Falzitto and I’m the director of Alvarium Learning Center. I started my career
in early childhood education following my graduation with an AA degree in Fine Art at Saddleback College
in Mission Viejo, Ca. In 2007, I moved to Fort Collins and owned a home daycare for three years before
returning to a center based childcare center. In Fort Collins and Loveland, I’ve worked with a variety of
age groups from infancy to school age including early head start programs and centers accredited by the N.A.E.Y.C.
I pursued my career further at Front Range Community College and graduated as a Large Center Director. From there
I managed a center for over two years before joining an amazing team at Alvarium Learning Center as their center director.
My favorite daily delights are sharing stories and listening to families about their children. Being a part of a child’s first learning
experience is enlightening and an overall blessing. I believe that providing children with a variety of activities in a safe environment
enhances their natural curiosity and knowledge about the world around them which in return promotes a positive outlook towards learning in their future.
My love for children in my career extends to my personal life being a mother to five children. My children range in age from 21 to 7 years old.
We enjoy the joys of outdoor living through paddleboarding and kayaking the many lakes in Colorado along with the beautiful hikes, biking and camping adventures.
My downtime is spent reading, baking, watching movies and trying to implement Pinterest ideas. This spring I plan on completing the ASA 101 course for sailing to
teach my family my favorite pastime as a child which was sailing with my family along the Pacific Ocean. My dad always inspired me to always keep learning and I
feel I’ve inherited this philosophy throughout my life and encourage others to do the same!
