Shannon Helvie

Hello Families! I’m Shannon Helvie, (Ms. Shannon). I have been working with children and families in our local
community for over fourteen years. I began homeschooling my 3 children in 2003, until they went into Middle School.
During that period I also taught Art to Homeschool families as well as for Classical Conversations.
My BA in Fine Arts is from SDSU with emphasis in Graphic Design. I also have BA from CU Boulder in film studies.
My latest endeavor was obtaining my Drone FAA Part 107 license.
My husband and I currently own a Martial Arts Studio here in Wellington as well, focusing on Karate
and Jujitsu for kids and adults.
Working with three year old children here at Alvarium Learning Center has been a true pleasure. I have enjoyed
getting to know the families, children and staff!
