Ages 2-2.5 Years

The focus of our Toddler classrooms is to encourage social and emotional skills while introducing basic shapes, colors, weather, and sign language. Teachers will encourage children to participate in group activities, sensory play, manipulatives, art, music, movement, and free exploration. Children will engage in nature daily through outdoor time and nature based activities. They will also have opportunities to move and dance while interacting and building relationships with those around them. All these activities are meant to teach children to recognize and name objects in their environment, interact with others, and further develop. Throughout the toddlers’ daily activities and engagement, our qualified teachers will provide and monitor the children’s physical, emotional, and social needs. Our goal is that each Toddler feels loved, valued, and secure in learning more about the world around them. Toddlers will be provided with a safe, fun and loving environment to explore and thrive in. This classroom has low child to teacher ratios that allows for more opportunities to build respectful and reciprocating relationships between children, teachers and peers.
